How to use this medication

This medication is to be taken by mouth with or without food. The dosage is prescribed by the doctor. The amount of medication in your body depends on your age, weight, and amount of bacteria in your blood. The first dose is usually 50mg. Your body needs a dose before the medication is complete. The amount of medication needed depends on your age and weight to get the most benefit from it. Do not take 2 doses at once to get the maximum benefit. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.

To reduce the risk of side effects, take this medication regularly to be sure to receive the most benefit from it, and to make sure that any side effects are not the side effects of any other medication. Warnings

Do not take this medication if you:

  • take any antibiotics regularly
  • are allergic to z-pak or its ingredients, or its inactive ingredients, or its active ingredients, or its ingredients, or its salts (such as aluminum and iron oxide)
